Children's Centre Advisory Board
Children’s Centres are required to establish local Children’s Centre Advisory Boards to ensure that services are developed to meet the needs of local families, identify any gaps and consider how services can work together to support children and families.
The Boards enable nominated parents and people who deliver services such as Health Visitors, local school representatives, community centre representatives, etc. to consider what is needed in the local area and identify how to address these issues in the best possible way.
Your contribution is important, as you will help inform the Local Children’s Boards at a decision making level, about your communities requirements, through your attendance at Parent Forum meetings and feedback in groups.
Group members are also able to access training similar to that available for school governors.
