What sort of Holiday Playschemes are in County Durham?

There are many different types of out of holiday playschemes, so look around to find one that suits you and your child.

• Most children attending holiday playschemes are aged between 5 and 11 but there are some that cater for the younger age range.
• Some will collect and drop children off at a central collection point.
• Some of the schemes run in the parks do not need to be booked , older children can just turn up for a session of fun and games (please check with the organisers)
• Some services provide places geared for older children aged 10 -14, and children 15 to 16 with special needs.
